Project Accelerate Career & College Readiness Program
Project Accelerate programming aims to close the gender equity gap by supporting girls through college and networking into the workforce, ensuring they can achieve influential leadership positions.
Girls Inc.’s program seeks to create and establish the web of connectivity that men and those of privilege have had, and have benefitted from, for generations. It will be the warm introduction that leads to a first job. It will be the LinkedIn connection that opens the door to an interview.
We are not aiming for one or two diversity hires with Project Accelerate. We are aiming to change the workforce landscape.
Participating collegiate women connect with volunteer corporate women mentors from your companies that meet at quarterly network mixers. Mentors and Collegiate women will also participate in office tours, informational interviewing, career panels, connections to paid internships, and more.
