Smart Ups Summer Entrepreneurship Program
Smart Ups gives 3rd – 6th grade girls a 4-week summer camp experience where they learn leadership, economic and financial literacy, and business skills by creating their own pretend businesses that impact their community. Participants learn about marketing, advertising, budgeting, confidence building, body positivity, and have the opportunity to learn from influential female entrepreneurs.
The girls gain exposure to professional business settings and learn presentation skills that they showcase at the end of the camp in our one-day Business Showcase & Shark Tank Event. Examples of companies that have invested their time, talent and funding for this program include: Casco Contractors; BJ’s Restaurants, Inc.; U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management; Women Investing in Security Education (WISE); Sabra Healthcare; Rutan & Tucker, LLP and many more.
